How to Follow Others' Blogs

I've created a short video that you can use as a tutorial to learn how to follow a blog posted by others. The video describes two ways of following blogs. (1) Adding a Blog on Blogger and (2) Using Circles on Google Plus to follow blogs.

If you have any questions, let me know.

Agenda - Saturday, September 7, 2013

Below is the agenda for this weekend. A few videos will be posted after class. They'll provide some insight into some of what wasn't discussed in class. If we complete some of this work after class it will give us more time to have meaningful class discussions.

Welcome to Models and Methods in Science Education

Welcome!
Most of you have taken classes with me, so you know that I do very little teaching, but you do quite a bit of work. As a constructivist teacher, I plan to have you do the work by reading, watching, writing, and creating products.
For many of us, it's difficult to let go of the podium. Hopefully, I can turn over most of the creating and reporting to you. My intent this semester is to have you become a "connected" teacher. One that collaborates with others and shares their ideas and welcomes the ideas of others to improve instruction.
You will be stretched in the use and application of technology to teach science and integrate it in the models of instruction which are the focus of this course.
If you need help, don't hestitate to contact me through e-mail (reyram49@gmail.com), Google Hangout, or phone (preferrably text @ 956-639-3426).
Our first class meeting will be on Saturday, September 7, 2013. There will be only three more face-to-face sessions the rest of the semester, not counting the final. The time and room number will be provided in a later e-mail.
